Chef Megan Coombes grew up in the Pacific Northwest and combines this background with influences from living all over the United States, traveling the world and studying classic French cuisine. While Altstadt focuses on the traditional techniques and flavors of German cuisine in a modern Bierhalle environment, her new restaurant Meg’s is an homage to the classic hamburger joint. With a focus on fresh ingredients and quality, affordable dining experiences, Megan is excited to continue shaping the Seattle culinary scene… one customer at a time.
